Headquartered in Viana do Castelo, AFVC represents dozens of clubs and hundreds of athletes, playing a central role in promoting sports participation, developing young talent, and serving as a bridge between local organizations and the Portuguese Football Federation.

The Challenge
Aware of its history, AFVC recognized the need to refresh its image while preserving its institutional legacy.
Goal: to update the association’s visual identity, maintaining historical and symbolic elements present in the emblem, such as the yellow ribbon and the five-tower crown.
Requirement: to convey both tradition and innovation, strengthening visibility, credibility, and engagement with the local community and clubs.

The Result
AFVC’s new visual identity is a direct evolution of its original crest.
Using the geometric shapes that define it, we developed a more modern, solid, and easily recognizable graphic representation. The final touch in this identity is the inclusion of 10 footballs, symbolizing the 10 municipalities covered by the association.
The result is a visual identity that honors the past while looking to the future — strengthening AFVC’s connection to its territory, its community, and its mission.
