Breathe Viana: nature and sport on a single platform.

Viana do Castelo launched “Breathe Viana” and we couldn’t be prouder to have contributed. This initiative invites locals and visitors to discover the natural heritage of our city and Blisq was responsible for developing the portal and mobile application.

Viana is renowned for its natural landscapes and nature tourism, showcasing the best the municipality has to offer: the hills, the river and the sea.

Through Breathe Viana, each user is invited to discover the coastal area and the mountains. In addition to publicizing the activities and sporting events that take place in Viana do Castelo, the two tools allow you to identify places to practice different types of contact with nature.

The goal of Breathe Viana is clear: to take users to enjoy the green of the mountains, the waves of the sea, the potential of the river and the strength of the wind. Outdoor routes, virtual classes and personalized training plans are also some of the new features of the initiative, which also allows you to virtually visit the city’s sports equipment and access interactive maps.

For the development of this project, we sought to create an intuitive and dynamic solution that could bring together several functionalities on the same platform. The chosen colors reflect the existing identity and relate to the designation of Viana do Castelo as the European City of Sport 2023.
